Enjoy this lovely time of year in Paris on this small group tour, with Laura Junod as your Tour Director, highlighting Laura’s favorite places in Paris. Your expert local Parisian guides will not only show you the breathtaking monuments  of Paris but through their history and stories, you will learn how to experience Paris the Parisian way: how to  best enjoy the eating and drinking at local cafés, how to get around Paris, where are the best restaurants and bakeries, and the special neighborhood (“arrondissement”) where your highly-rated hotel is located. This tour has been uniquely created to provide a special look at the Parisian way of life.

What Is Not Included:

  • Airfare.  
  • Transportation to Hotel in Paris from the Airport.
  • Return transportation to Airport after completion of the trip.
  • Wine or other beverages at dinners.
  • Trip insurance - highly recommended for your protection in the event something unexpected happens and you have to cancel your trip.

General Information:

  • Provided Dinners included are 3 courses, usually from a list of three options, and feature neighborhood restaurants, with typical French cuisine.  
  • Full breakfasts a la française  are served in the hotel’s salon and feature hot and cold items (breads, pastries, fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, cheeses , yogurts, juices and coffee).
  • Beds in Europe are smaller than in the U.S.  The bed in your hotel room will be either double-size or it can be split into two twin beds.
  • This tour is active. A fitness level is required appropriate for city walking  which requires being able to navigate the stairs of metro stops and train stations because elevators or escalators are rare. No motor-coaches are involved in this tour.
  • Your Paris metro and bus pass will be effective for 7 days starting Monday (the first day of the trip). It is a keepsake which you can re-charge on your next visit to Paris.
  • A passport is required for international travel. U.S. Citizens are required to have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond completion of your trip.

Cost of Trip and How To Register:

  • The total trip cost is $2,549 per person (based on double-occupancy), or $3,549 for single-occupancy.
  • If you are interested in the trip, please contact me to find out if there is space available. Then, in order to reserve your space, a $500 trip deposit per person is required (double-occupancy) or $1,000 per person (single-occupancy).
  • The final balance is due in full by August 31, 2020.
  • If you would like to reserve another hotel room night(s), an additional deposit will be required, based on current exchange rates.

How to make payments:

  • You can pay by check, debit or credit card.  If you pay by debit or credit card, there is an additional convenience fee of 3%.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Your trip deposit is 100% refundable (less the credit card convenience fee if applicable) if I receive your cancellation in writing by 7/31/2020.
  • If you cancel after 7/31/2020, your deposit becomes non-refundable. 
  • If you cancel after 8/31/2020, your total trip cost becomes non-refundable.

Itinerary Changes:

  • I will make every effort to operate the trip as advertised.  However, if circumstances arise beyond my control, I reserve the right to alter the itinerary or make substitutions as necessary..
